A hundred acres of once verdant woodland nestled our client’s coastal retreat until a wildfire devastated the property in 2020. Despite the conflagration’s intent, the site now reveals its beauty anew as long views toward the ocean are revealed while nature rebuilds. Our client’s determination to re-occupy the land comes with a respect for the power of the elements and a determination to build a firewise modern design statement on the land. In his words, it is a “James Bond super-villain lair” for a new age.
